Happy New Year! The biggest news is that Fiora and David Powell got engaged! David asked her on a brisk January morning at Highland pond in AF. He gave her a beautiful ring and we are all delighted. They are planning to tie the knot on August 6, 2026.
Kyndall Wilkinson stayed with us for a week and then Rachelle Wilkinson stayed with us the next week for a few days to see Kassidy Wilkinson open her mission call. We were honored Kassidy opened it at our house. She has been called to serve in Milan Italy speaking Italian. That means all 5 of the quints will be serving a mission at the same time and all speaking different languages: English, Spanish, Korean, French, and Italian. Pretty amazing!
Otherwise the month was dry and full of sickness. I got sick twice pretty bad. Poor Juliette got sick when I was babysitting her for Savanna and Mckay to have a overnighter. But I'm really glad she was here so I could be there when she had her fever seizure. It was scary and I almost drove her to primary children's hospital, but Jared gave her a blessing of healing and she stabilized. I have great faith that he healed her through the power of the priesthood from whatever caused her to seize and not respond to me. Sav took her to her pediatrician and he said it was a virus and if she seizes again to take her to PCH. She is such a tough little thing and I feel so sad when she is suffering.
Other things in January...we celebrated Keith Snow's 60th birthday with dinner and games. My mom and dad came over twice to watch football and mom and I talk/play games. Babysitting Juliette when I can and not sick. And we watched Emelia and Everett Snow for Austin and Jenni one evening which was a rare treat. I think that's were Jared and I picked up a bad head cold though darn it. We were really sick for 4 days at the same time same exact symptoms. Share the love, share the germs.
Of course what post is complete without a bunch of cute Juliette pics! And there is a picture of Jesus and a baby because it was Lillian's birthday January 15th and I never forget, she would have been 19.
