December 2021: Christmas and Jared's 44th Birthday

Last but not least, lots of Christmas activities and jollification to capture this year! Our last year will all our kids single and Weston's last Christmas at home. First of all Savanna did an amazing job on my Christmas nails, it made me happy every time I looked at them. Weston sung a solo at the PGHS Christmas concert and sang with Vocal Jazz and Chamber in 6 numbers. It was a wonderful concert.

We had three white elephant gift exchanges, one at the Grandma Sandy party, one at my company party, and one with the Barrett's on Jared's birthday. Lots of present wrapping and trying to come up with clever ideas! Fun. Weston and I participated in the short program at the Ward Christmas party, and sang in two numbers during our Christmas program for Sacrament meeting. I gave Riley Wilkinson a sticking before he left for Texas since he has been with us so much this year while going to BYU.

Jared's birthday we had Chad and Robin and family and Aaron and Justin's family over for birthday brunch. Jared made everyone breakfast burritos. Christmas Eve we had our annual progressive dinner and Christmas night we had dinner at Justin's again. Christmas Eve Fiora came down with Cade and we had a gift exchange from Todd, he gave the kids homemade comforters. We opened Christmas eve jammies and Fiora gave us her gifts which were very nice. Christmas morning McKay and Sav opened gifts with us and then we visited y parents before they took off to Nevada for a few days. Lots of wonderful family time. I did the 12 days of Christmas for Fiora so she opened a gift from me every day while up in Ogden. Savanna got everyone very nice and generous gifts. McKay made me a wood burning of the garden of gethsemane that made me cry. Fiora also got a bengal cat from Cade for Christmas and loves it. Weston got a trip to Universal Studios with me in January. Sav got money for a new phone. We all have been blessed! Merry Christmas and happy new year y'all!
