Savanna anticipated a proposal sometime around Christmas and since she wants to be married on 2.22.22 we had to start the wedding planning. Sav got a spot at the Payson temple at 11:30 that day. The Venue was secured (Chillon in Spanish Fork), colors picked. Sav waited for Savannah Seegmiller to come down from Idaho so we could wedding dress shopping with her friends (Fiora even came down for that), and she looked very beautiful in all the dresses she tried on looking for designs. Then getting with Shawna Schauers to design the dress, and McKay ordered her ring, it was all becoming very real! McKay was with us for all the great stuff in December, our ward party, the Grandmas Sandy Christmas party, playing games, Sunday dinners. We've really adopted him in the family and are very happy for Savanna and McKay!
He proposed on Christmas Eve after the Schauers Progressive Dinner. He set up decorative lights in the backyard and stood in the middle. We lured Sav out by asking her to take the dog out, and we all stood on the deck and watched him ask. It was very exciting and sweet!
