January 2021

My friend Cami Turpin who did our photos at our Barrett Reunion Reunion party on New Year's Eve finished her gallery this month. I never want to forget. It was a gargantuan effort and these photos were the purpose. I love these people!

Other January happenings...

  • Jared and I snuck away to stay in Lake Havasu AZ over the three day weekend. It was a much needed respite for both of us and the weather was wonderful. We hiked, ate, and worked on our intimacy course. The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful there.
  • Jayson and Rachelle Wilkinson stayed with us a couple of days while dropping Riley off at BYU. We love having some time to visit with them! We got out on a cousin dinner with Cassi and Brian Willoughby as well.
  • We have been cooking a lot of food, Jared on the smoker and I started making whole wheat bread again.
  • We celebrated what would be Lillian's 14th birthday, and made her some heart shaped waffles. Love you Lillian.
  • Weston's still at it with his dog grooming business and I love these before and after photos of his dogs. Way to go Weston!
  • Savanna is my nail girl and I love what she can do with  my nails! Obsessed with them. January was a purple frost fade. She is almost done with her apprenticeship.
  • Fiora finished her denim blanket she hand crafted out of jeans she cut into squares. I thought the finished product was amazing!
  • Jared and I helped Mark Udall (who boards our horse) with feeding and mucking stables for his other 8 horses for a week while he was out of town. Good work for us! Not that we have any shortage of work, both of us working full time and very busy with our jobs.
  • And last but not least, poor little Abigail Heidi Brook Carpenter broke her leg and we went and visited her and brought her some bath toys and the other kids some squishies. I love those and have a whole family of them.

Thank you to our Heavenly Father for our blessings.
