March 2022

This was one of those months you feel proud for just surviving. Lots of difficult, but lots of wonderful too. Still very grateful for our blessing and happy the Lord is with us good times or hard times.

We had fun celebrating Karli Sue's birthday with a family fun run. Presents and Kneaders after. My mother's Lightweave wall inspired me. I got some wall decor this year as a reward for all my hard work in Feb.

Wedding reception take 2, in Elko Nevada. Got to stay in a little hotel room with Fiora and Weston and spend lots of time getting to know McKay's family. Savanna looked beautiful in her gown again!

Most of March was cold, but we had some unusually nice weather for a bit and took advantage of it by riding horses. Got to take Fiora on a nice ride when she came to visit, and entertained Wendy Snow's grandkids on a nice afternoon as well.

I helped through a company party for our regional manager who is transferring assignments. I made my dad's burritos and they were a big hit.

Weston had a choir event in the common area so we caught that. He spend the last weekend in March in California, at Disneyland on Choir tour.

Weston decided to accept a college offer to Utah State University. He is in the process of submitting his mission papers and then will defer the two years before attending. Lots of changes this year, feels strange.

Our pipes started leaking again and dripped rain into our basement, we have to repair the plumbing and dry wall, again.

Jared and I did some spring cleaning of the garage and it looks much better. The Chicks have taken residence in a brooder in the garage this month.

We hosted a couple pairs of missionaries for dinner during missionary month. It was a nice way to serve, Weston had his final missionary month and dinner assignment as well. We love our youth here.
