October 2021

 Here is what happened in October for the Schauers family. 

Savanna is officially dating McKay Garvin, and we are so happy for her! He is a great guy and they are a handsome couple. Prayers for their journey together! Love them both. They did an amazing job on their Viking costumes for Halloween. Best ones at the Barrett Family Halloween party in my opinion.

Weston got asked to Sadie Hawkins and is looking forward to that. He is applying to colleges and took the ACT a second time and keeps up with his homework. He also has a lot of student council and other social activities he keeps up with. 

My blessed mother continues to watch over Grandma Rappleye in her final stages of life. She sneaks out to spend time with family and hike in the beautiful fall colors whenever she can. I really admire her! She celebrated her 64th birthday this month on Oct 19. Love you mom.

Savanna and McKay got my mom a sage bush which she absolutely loved. Represented God's love for her.

We closed on a property in Lindon on Main St that includes 1.5 acres, some out buildings/stalls, and a little house. Jared and I have been looking for a property to turn into a "hobby farm" for retirement, and the Lord blessed us to find something in Lindon. We have been working hard to get it cleaned up for renters and horse boarding. There is lots to do so I have the next 27 years of my life planned out ha! I bought a tractor so we could work "the farm." Love it so much.

That guy cutting the tree is Mark Brandt, he helped us one day at the farm. Jared is a hard hard worker and I'm very impressed with him.

Pretty Sav, she comes to visit a lot and I love her. She gave me really pretty nails this month that had the colors of my wedding on them. 

I love this picture by my brother Jesse. Also this next one is an age progression of the Snows and us, 2009 vs 2021. I thought that was pretty awesome.

Fiora still comes to visit now and then, and is doing well up in Ogden with her boyfriend Cade. She had a fun time at a pumpkin patch up there with him.

The rest are halloween fun. I watched gramma while everyone partied, but I needed the rest. Lots of work and fun this month!

And lastly, Weston had his senior pictures taken by Holly. She did a fantastic job and I can't choose which to put on the wall!
