August 2021

Here we go for August! For some reason these all loaded in backwards in time. So I'll give you the outline and you will have to go from bottom to top to see the pictures that correspond in order.

--Mini Barrett Family reunion August 7 2021. Joseph and Rachel hosted a fun day of water games and a talent show, Jared and I brought up the horses and took everyone on a ride. Love my family!

--Jared and I take a weekend road trip to Pocatello ID and Twin Falls to look at more real estate. Had a lovely time and stopped at the restaurant Fiora works at to see her in action. The Rusted Spoon is LOVELY. We also got some peaches on that trip and I was able to get up early to bottle some before work one day.

--Jared takes a trip to Albuquerque for business and buys me some beautiful blue jewelry from Santa Fe. I love it!

--Savanna goes to the temple and we celebrate with Chick Fil A of course. :) She was a joyful beauty!

--Cucumber harvest overwhelms my ability to keep up, already pickled 20 jars, had to give the rest away, pulled up one of the plants

--Jared had his summer company party at Tempanyaki's and we had a fun dinner and a show.

--Visit from Fiora, went on a walk to Bridal Veil while she was here, she also got a hair dye (brown) and looks beautiful of course. She got a new job at a lash studio this month.

--Weston's first day of Senior Year at Pleasant Grove High School. He is keeping busy with assignments, student council, choir, and dog grooming.

--Weird weather, lots of smoke from California fires made for many red suns and lots of itchy eyes and throats. Then sudden crazy rain storm for three days, the air was wet AND smoky. Weird!

--Two of the best looking sets of nails yet! Pink/plaid and blue cat eye. Savanna continues to do a amazing job.

--Spur of the moment temple run to do baptisms at the Provo temple with Weston and Jared, miracle cancellation made it possible. God cares about the family history work we do!

--Trevan Carpenter was the chief ancestor in Lehi's production of Moana Jr. He did a fantastic job, best one on the stage.

--Took a day off work and watched Jesse's kids while he and Kelsy manned a Lightweave booth at Education Week. Lots of fun all day with those cuties. Savanna showed up right at the best time to help me make dinner while they were here. Love Sav's visits.

--Family trip to LAGOON with the Nuskin crew, Jesse and Kelsy so generous offer us discounted tickets every year. I'm getting too old and motion sick for that place, but it was so fun to be with all my family there.
