April 2026

April was packed full of good times! I'll have to lay it out bullet-style and pictures will tell the story.

• Easter: Barrett Family party, triumphal entry, dinner, and egg hunt.
• Juliette 17 months old: learning new words, rec center membership, swimming lessons, sleep regression, and cutest toddler babble.
• Weston visit for General Conf weekend and going to General Conf on Sunday morning with my parents, Norm, and Weston.
• Norm Johnson from England staying with us, going boating with Dad and Jared, telling cool stories and giving us lots of English chocolate.
• Dinner at Jesse and Kelsy's with the family and Norm.
• Going to lunch with Shannon Young on her birthday, adjusting to her not being my boss at work.
• Lots of changes at work/MTC with new boss, Sunday meeting with leaders to discuss changes. 
• Jared goes boating like 3 times a week and provides fun experiences for many people. 
• Heather went boating one evening with Jason and Brooke Vincent.
• Lunch outing with Kaiya, Kassidy, and Kaydence. 
• Betty Ann Curtis and Rachelle Wilkinson staying with us while her kids transition from BYU.
• Brunch with Fiora and Savanna, catching up on their busy lives. 
• Weston staying with us in between school and work. Learning a duet with him. Temple doing baptisms. Fishing with dad, gma and gpa Barrett.
• Jared caught the biggest channel fish he has ever caught just fishing off the shores of Utah Lake.
• My parents coming for dinner to spend time with Weston and having Alan's famous burritos.
• Juliette swimming at the rec center with Grandma and Savanna and having the cutest hairdo ever!
• Heather doctor visits to ENT, antibiotics, diagnosis of chronic sinusitus, and surgery scheduled.
